Our Specialist Study Skills Tutors and Mentors are offering remote sessions via Skype or phone – if you’re not sure how to contact your assigned support worker, please email SSST@southwales.ac.uk for Study Skills or MHS@southwales.ac.uk for the Mentor team. If you access your specialist support externally, please contact your provider or a disability adviser for further advice.
If you usually have an assigned note-taker and need support accessing any of the online teaching, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
The Disability Service provides information, advice and guidance to and co-ordinates support for USW students who have disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental health or unseen disabilities, specific learning difficulties (e.g. dyslexia) and autism.
If you are studying at a USW partner college please contact your college.
We provide a confidential service where you can discuss your individual requirements. We can advise you on what support is available and help you apply for it.
If you have any queries or require any disability related support please contact us or book an appointment with a Disability Adviser to discuss. Please let us know at the time of booking if you require an appointment through the medium of Welsh or English. Please note, it may be necessary to arrange for a simultaneous translator to be present.
